Also, will the end user pay such high price for a gas stove, as at that point of time the difference of price between normal gas stove and Glass- Top gas stove seemed big. Many years after introduction of glass top gas stoves, Jyoti brought a new wave into the market, this was none other than thick artificial granite stone for gas stoves. Jyoti was the first company to bring integrated battery operated auto ignition system(built-in auto ignition in the button itself) in glass top gas stoves. This kind of auto ignition was earlier seen in built-in –hobs only, but this visionary move by Jyoti made it possible to use the same system of High-end auto ignition in your simple budgeted gas stoves/cook tops. With this kind of integrated auto system there is no need of side button for sparking, the sparking happens when you ON the gas button itself (in older type of auto ignition you need to ON the gas button and then press a separate button for auto ignition sparking, hence making it a two step process). Jyoti was the first company in India to bring Gas geysers that can work even at low water input pressure. When gas geysers were first introduced in market, geysers were able to work only at places where water input pressure/flow was high. So, those people living in a bungalows/row houses or living on the top floor of an apartment or people using loft tanks were not able to use gas water heaters as water head is less, making the water pressure low. Thus, a fruitful solution to this was brought about by Jyoti. This was none other than introduction of Low Pressure (LP) gas water heaters by Jyoti.
